Youth Creating Change is a California nonprofit dedicated to suicide prevention and mental health awareness through young people's voices. They use film and visual art education to give youth a platform to express their own mental health stories. Their flagship is Directing Change, a statewide contest where students create 60-second films on mental health and suicide prevention. They also offer trainings for schools and parents, alongside the monthly Hope & Justice contest.
How we've helped: The foundation is proud to be a signature sponsor
of this year's Directing Change Award Ceremony.
Chase has also consulted with YCC on potential avenues for youth outreach via the
digital arts.
